Take a Practice SAT vs ACT Test! 

Sponsored by the WWP High School South PTSA

 The West Windsor High School South PTSA is offering a SAT vs ACT combo Practice Test (2024-25 Date TBA). The test event helps students not only practice important tests in a real-world setting but also identify areas to help them improve their scores before taking their official exams. Test participants will receive a detailed score report highlighting their personal strengths and weaknesses immediately after the test!  

Important Note: This practice test is for students to familiarize themselves in preparation for the official tests. Scores are not reported to the school or any reporting agency. Results are solely for students’ personal use.

Which Test Should You Take?

ACT SAT 
3 hours 25 minutes (w/ Essay) 3 hours  50 minutes (w/Essay)
Question formats are more straightforward Questions align more closely with curriculum 
Tests knowledge gained in school Taught in school
Time per question is quicker but less complex No sentence completion questions
No penalty for incorrect responses No penalty for incorrect responses

Payment: HSS PTSA will collect a registration fee prior to the day of the test. Please bring cash or a check made payable to the WWP-HSS PTSA. (Note: All students who are members of the High School South PTSA can take this exam FREE).

What to Bring: 

1) #2 pencils,

2) Calculator, 

3) Fully charged smart phone or tablet (used only after the completion of the test, for scoring purposes), 

4) Snacks and drinks if needed.
